CC2652P: json file not found

There is an example empty project imported from Resource Explorer, CC1352-P-2. I tried to switch the device to several custom boards, all of them works; for example CC1352P1F3RGZ. The only one so far what does not seem to be working is the CC2652P1FRGZ one. The error message says /ti/ti154stack/rf_config-/CC2652P1FRGZ_rf_defaults.js is not found. The file system contains several copies of CC2652P1FRGZ_rf_defaults.js so my question is why the latest CCStudio does not find this file after a fresh installation? Does this file need to be copied somewhere? Or, if not, which PATH/environment variable needs to be adjusted in order to be able to switch to CC2652P1? It is really annoying because the switch to none/device works for everything else I tried in CCStudio.

I've just confirmed this with CC2652P hardware and the SIMPLELINK-CC13XX-CC26XX-SDK v6.40 on my setup.

thank you for the quick reply.

The imported project is designed for the corresponding Launch Pad. We try to use a custom board, not the LP.

How is it possible to set it up for custom board (different DIO usage, for example)? The strange thing here is that LP_CC2652RB and LP_CC2652PSIP projects can be converted in the sysconfig by changing the processor to CC2652RB1F (any RB) CC2652PSIP, CC2652P3/P7 variants. Only the P1 shows this error. Any clue? TBH, I think that the corresponding .js that exists in the ti tree under sysconfig_15 would be missing or need to be copied to somewhere, or a path needs to be adjusted. I think it is simply a file not found issue not a theoretical coding/architecture one.

You can select "Use Custom Board" inside SysConfig Board View to use different DIOs than the ones designated by the LaunchPad. Behavior will vary slightly for each device variant and protocol stack.
