Hi all,

Is it right that the SBDemo tool deliverd with Z-Stack version 2.3.1 does not send the 0xF8 byte that forces the bootloader to enter bootloading mode during the 1 minute time window? I observed the serial connection with a port monitor and never saw that byte. Well, how is the SBdemo tool intended to set the ZNP bootloader into bootloading mode? I am a little confused.

It's a pending enhancement to the demo tool, so for now you'll have to open the serial port with something like Br@y terminal and send the byte. In Br@y, click on 'Set Macros', in one of the entries simply put $F8 and after connecting, click that macro and the magic byte is sent. Close the COM port with Br@y and run the SB demo tool.

Also, most sample boot loaders are looking for a button press to force boot loader mode or an immediate jump to valid run code.
