Hi Team,

Our customer is trying to flash his new CC2530 Zigbee module. He has CP2102 connected to CC2530 which he wants to setup as Zigbee router for Home Assistant. He is looking for the firmware to flash the CC2530 to make it a router for Home Assistant. Is he referring to the Z-stack in the link below?

Hi Danilo,

Z-Stack 3.0.2 is the latest and most recommended stack which has been proven capable of joining Home Assistants. Z-Stack HA 1.2.2a is also suitable for most Smart Home environments, however it may also depend on the network they are attempting to join and what Zigbee specification is supported. Note that both are compatible/interoperable with the other, but some project configurations may need to be modified to adjust. Here are some resources for their review:

They can use the ZNP project if interacting with a host, otherwise any standalone ZR HomeAutomation application project will suffice for routing Zigbee packets.

By the way, you would need CC Debugger to program CC2530.
