Hello,

There is an end device device using zigbee 2006 stack, we want this device to join the zigbee network we will develop ourselves.
Only v3.0 of Z-stack seems to be available for download.
What version stack do I need for a Zigbee 2006 end device to connect to the zigbee coordinator I will develop?
Can you help us ?

Does the end device device using zigbee 2006 stack run standard Zigbee HA profile with legacy TC link key? If yes, it should be no problem to join Zigbee 3.0 network which is formed by coordinator from Z-Stack 3.x.

I haven't received the device yet, I will start testing with Z-Stack 3.x when I start working, thanks for your help.

Hello Halil,

If using a Z-Stack 3.0 coordinator then please make sure that BDB_DEFAULT_TC_REQUIRE_KEY_EXCHANGE is set to FALSE in the bdb_interface.h file. You could also reference the older Z-STACK-ARCHIVE solutions if necessary, however the CC2530 is not recommended for new Z-Stack coordinator designs due to limited RAM. I highly recommend that you consider SIMPLELINK-CC13XX-CC26XX-SDK for the latest solution with TI's SimpleLink Connectivity products.
