Hi,
I would like to ask about the Phase Noise and stability requirements for both external clocks (32.768 kHz and 48 MHz) for the CC2651P3 part.

Sasha

Hi Sasha,
Please see https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra495j/swra495j.pdf for more information on the crystal requirements.
Stability is dependent on the modulation used. For example BLE requires a carrier deviation less than +/-40 ppm as noted in SWRA494 and the Bluetooth spec, and the 48MHz crystal frequency tolerance will directly translate to the carrier frequency tolerance. Therefor the crystal tolerance (aging, temperature, etc.) must be less than 40ppm. Similarly for the 32 kHz crystal the BLE requirement is 500 ppm.

Hi Jake,
Thank you for the shared info. Do you have a requirements about the Phase Noise? Since the shared document doesn`t contain such one info.

Sasha
Hi Sasha,
No we do not a have a phase noise specification. We do have a number of crystals that are qualified and tested with our device that our listed in the above app note. If you can use one of those crystals you can expect good performance.
