CC2674P10: Error while installing Matter project

Part Number: CC2674P10

Hi,

I was following the Matter Device Creation tutorial to start developing with Matter. I did follow the installation setups mentioned there but I am facing some issues when I reach to the bootstrap script. At first, I had the "detected dubious ownership in repository" error. Then I added it as a safe directory with the "git config --global --add safe.directory" command.

After that, when I run the "source scripts/bootstrap.sh" command I am getting the following error:

I don't know what might be causing this so I am opening this thread to see if anybody knows how to solve this. Thank you!

Cheers,
Eduardo.

  • Hi Eduardo,

I have not seen this particular error either.  It is likely due to your OS configuration.  What version of Linux are you using?  You should try running commands as the root user and consider requesting further support from the connectedhomeip group as the issue you are observing does not particularly relate to TI resources or devices.

    Regards,
    Ryan

  • Hi Ryan,

I am using Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS.

Running the commands as the root user helped me solving the issue. I can now execute the bootstrap.sh without problems.

    Thank you very much!

    Cheers,
    Eduardo.
