CC2674P10: Migrating and running Matter Examples on the TI SimpleLink CC2674P10

I am still following the migration guide and I'm facing another issue during the "Configuring chip.syscfg in the SysConfig GUI": step 1 says to add the line   "// @cliArgs --product <path to SDK>/.metadata/product.json --board /ti/boards/LP_EM_CC1354P10_6 --rtos freertos" to the chip.syscfg file.
I changed the <path to SDK> by "/$HOME/matter/third_party_ti_simplelink_sdk/repo_cc13xx_cc26xx"
Then when I try to open the file using the SysConfig GUI I face the following error:
Invalid argument '--product': File "/$HOME/matter/third_party_ti_simplelink_sdk/repo_cc13xx_cc26xx/.metadata/product.json" does not exist

I can see the file in the path I mentioned:

Am I sending the wrong path or something? I have tried some different ways but nothing worked until now.

The error is a literal translation of the directory input, and as such indicates that such a directory does not exist on your machine.  The issue is likely with your usage of "/$HOME", make sure that the Linux terminal command "echo $HOME" returns the value you expect (without the leading "/"), or try using "~" instead (--product ~/matter/third_party_ti_simplelink_sdk/repo_cc13xx_cc26xx/.metadata/product.json

The "echo $HOME" command does return the expected value:

If I change to "~/matter/third_party...." I also get an error message saying that the file does not exist:

Invalid argument '--product': File "/home/oee_dev-002/ti/sysconfig_1.19.0/~/matter/third_party_ti_simplelink_sdk/repo_cc13xx_cc26xx/.metadata/product.json" does not exist

Two suggestions:

--product ../../matter/third_party_ti_simplelink_sdk/repo_cc13xx_cc26xx/.metadata/product.json
--product /home/oee_dev-002/matter/third_party_ti_simplelink_sdk/repo_cc13xx_cc26xx/.metadata/product.json

Both suggestions show the "File does not exist" error.

What are the paths in the error messages which it attempts to resolve?  Please provide images/snippets of each attempt.  You've tried to use an absolute path without effect?

Thank you very much! I checked so many times and did not notice this mistake.

Unfortunately I am facing another issue. During step 4 of the "Configuring chip.syscfg in the SysConfig GUI" I can't change the Device from CC1354P10RSK to CC2675P10RGZ. It shows the following error:

I am testing the lock-app example.

In addition, there was a warning in the BLE Stack about the number of advertisement sets. It was configured with value 1:

I have changed the value to 2. Is it correct?

It also says to unselect the "Lock PinMux" option, but I didn't find it. Does it refer to the "Lock Resource Allocation" option?

It worked configuring the SysConfig file.

Now I am trying to build the example, but it is showing an error for the TI_SIMPLELINK_BOARD variable:

I followed the guide, but maybe it is because I set it to "CC2674" in the args.gni file and then in the Sysconfig I set it to "None"?

Please evaluate with SysConfig v1.16.2 instead and consider modifying ti_simplelink_board.gni to remove the assert error or determine the best board definition to use instead to avoid the issue.

Hi Ryan,

I am using now SysConfig v1.16.2 and notice that I could not open the chip.sysconfig file using the GUI. It was accusing that no board was being selected. So I opened the file and re-added the @cliArgs again and now I can open the file.

I think I might have misunderstood the following step:

I deleted this whole section in my file. Is this what it really was meant to be done?

I also noticed that even if I unselect the Lock PinMux option, it keeps checked when I open it again.

Those lines are meant to be deleted after the SysConfig GUI has applied necessary changes, so that the Matter build can complete successfully.  Any time you attempt to open the file within the GUI, you should apply the @cliArgs line accordingly.

It looks like ti_simplelink_board.gni does not have the "CC2674" option. It looks like I'm in the v1.0 branch of ti_simplelink_sdk path, here's the output when I do "git log":

Do I need to change to another branch?

You should consult a Git guide for more tips on switching git branches.  Also be sure to use "git submodule update --init" as instructed in the Updating Matter Code instructions.
