CC2530: Questions about Blocking Test in preparation (ESTI EN 300 328 2.2.2)

hello? 

I need to prepare for a blocking test related to ESTI EN 300 328 2.2.2 . I'm preparing similar to the link below and I have a few questions.

1. Is DUT mode set up similarly to 3.5 RX Setup in the link? [Attached screenshot]

2. Is there a exist F/W for DUT mode? (I heard about it from a testing company.)

3. If not [2], can the DUT mode be set to SmartRF Studio without the need for F/W implementation?

4. If you know how to conduct a blocking test, please share.

    Hi Moon,

    Q1) Yes the setup is similar but you would take the requirements for the protocol you're using (i.e. acceptable PER).

    Q2) For our earlier devices like CC2530 with Zigbee there is no specific test firmware. Please use SmartRF studio which configures the device without having to flash custom FW.

    Q3) For configuration examples you can see https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra370/swra370.pdf . The sensitivity example would be the most closely related.
