CC2538: External Programming Flash with CC2538

I had a question regarding programming the SoC.

I am planning to use the CC2538SF53RTQT SoC along with the CC2592RGVR range extender.
Is it possible to use an external flash? If yes, are there any recommended part numbers to keep my program?

Can I use External Flash SST25VF010A interfaced with CC2538?

Hi,

You can see this thread to interface external flash, but I am not sure if programing the SoC is supported in released SW.

I have looped in a colleague from SW team to comment on this.

Examples of external SPI flash interfaces are not provided in the default CC2538 software resources and must be developed independently.

Irrespective of the example code, I wanted to know if the one can successfully interface an SPI Flash with the said SoC?

It is possible for the CC2538 SoC to interface with an external SPI Serial Flash.
