Sensor demo application: sequential ADC conversion triggered by timer

Hello,

I would like to change the current configuration of ADC used in the Sensor demo application from TI for CC2530 on Zstack. I would like to have sequential conversions on all channels of ADC to be triggered by a timer. I am not quite sure how this can be added to the current sensor code ( How does timer and ADC collaborate?) . I would be grateful if some one can share his/her experience on this one.

Thanks, I have read that post before. The thing I am not sure of is if I define a timer, do I have to define an event for my ADC to do the conversion or it will automatically use the timer?

If you use a hardware timer on the SOC (Timer1,3or4) you will define the interrupt handler for that timer and in the ISR, start the sequential read and/or trigger DMA. Just copy and paste into your code the timer isr for iar:

Thanks a lot. Honestly I am a novice so my question might be seem very simple but how I can use this function in the demo sensor app? should I paste it in the osal event handler or in local functions part? thanks again.

I added the ISR for timer 1 to my current code but when I want to apply CLKCONCMD |= BIT5 | BIT3 and change the clock tick speed it does not function could you please comment on this odd situation. I am not sure if timer 1 is being used in the Sensor demo app on zigbee pro at all,
