I am unable to connect CC2520 Development kit with SmartRF studio 7 . The application is able to display a USB device ID but displays no chip found despite having connected the CC250DK_EM board .

Hi,
Have you tried with the other module?
Is the behavior the same as with the first cc2520EM?
Thank you for the quick response :) .Found the problem . Actually I had attached CCMSP-EM430F2618 board with SmartRF05EB and then attached CC520DK_EM to the MSP board. That is why it was unable to recognise the RF chip. On removing CCMSP-EM430F2618 and attaching CC520DK_EM directly to the SmartRF05EB board, i was able to use the hardware.
Can you please tell me how I can program a custom board having CC2520 and MSP430F2618 for simple data transmission and reception using SmartRF studio?
Hi,
Well, I'm not sure if studio supports such sort of connection, it's used as some kind of
replacement for the uC (MSP in your case), however, may be I wrong here, and you should
post a question in RF tools forum and may be in MSP forum, though I'm not familiar with the
last one.
Anyhow, the first place I would be looking for an answer to your question is in the user guide
of this specific kit.
