CC2652P: Is it possible to modify/set/adjust routing strategy

Part Number: CC2652P
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: Z-STACK

Tool/software:

Hello Everyone,

In our recent project, we have observed an issue with the routing behavior of our TI technology stack, where routers (based on TI chips) sometimes establish a direct route to the coordinator, even when a more efficient route with a higher hop count is available. I understand that the final route cost is determined by the sum of the subtrace costs, which suggests that the routing algorithm is primarily optimizing for hop count.

My question is: Is there a built-in method to adjust the routing strategy through parameters, or would it require modifications to the source code?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Robert
