Hello,

I´d like to know if the encryption operation uses DMA to communicate with the AES processor and wich channel does it use. If it doesn´t use this method I´d like to know wihch method, if it´s by ISR or it just uses the main processor.

I´m asking this because I´d like to know if the DMA channels I´m using for UART and flash can disturb.

Elian,

AES and NV operations are supposed to be done using DMA. You can configure other method for UART, however it also uses DMA by default.
You can find the channels assigned to those as following:

#define HAL_DMA_CH_RX 3
#define HAL_DMA_CH_TX 4

#define HAL_DMA_AES_IN 1

So,

I can´t use DMA to read UART when using security and flash? Since the CC2530 have just 5 channels.

Elian,

HAL_DMA_CH_RX is for UART RX and HAL_DMA_CH_TX is for UART TX. So you can use UART and security at the same time.
