1- Yes, this is a good choice, I´m using it for a couple of years, and is good

2- You have to check with your local IAR distributor, but we paid around U$2000

3- I´d like to confirm this, but I think there is no license to use this. If someone could respond this it would be great.

Just one more thing is if you know another way to use it without IAR, U$2000 is quite expensive to start :s

I know it´s expensive, so in the beginning we used the evaluation version of IAR. There is to: kickstart (code limited) and evaluation 30-day.

There is another IDE called Code Composer but I only heard that it´s bad. I thinkk it´s worth to use the evaluation versions in the beginning.

But the compiler will work with all Ti family or just 8051?

The  CC2530 ZigBee® Development Kit is the same as  CC2530 Development Ki but with more modules, right?

The IAR compilers are specific to a particular MCU family: EW8051 works with all TI's 8051-based devices and EW430 works with TI's MSP430-based devices.

There is no license cost to use Z-Stack. The only requirement is that Z-Stack must be used with TI's 802.15.4 compliant devices, including CC2530 and CC2520.
