Hello,

I use Digi XBee Pro moduls and send frames in the format shown in the picture below:

I would like to use TI modules and I am asking for help in choosing. The systems are powered by batteries, so it would be good if they had low power consumption and allowed data transmission at a distance of up to 100 m. The devices work in a Mesh network, and the recipient/sender address, data length and data up to 20 bytes are sent.

The CC2530 IEEE 802.15.4 frame format is documented in the User's Guide, and if you have relevant hardware you could test sending/receiving basic packets with Smart RF Studio 7.

The SimpleLink Low-power F2/F3 SDK products (CC26X2/CC26X4/CC2340) are newer devices and have continued software support, as compared to the Legacy CC253X devices, and will support Zigbee 3.0 Specifications (R22 or R23) with Zigbee HA backwards compatibility.

The RF range calculator is provided to estimate range based on PHY, frequency, and TX power selection.
