Hi,

I have two questions regarding TI's support for Matter 1.4 (based on Thread):

1. Is it possible for the CC2340R5 to support Matter 1.4 through resource expansion or any alternative approaches?
2. Which TI wireless MCUs currently support Matter 1.4 for end devices? Is support limited to the CC13x4/CC26x4 series, or are there additional models planned for future Matter 1.4 compatibility?

    Hi hui,

    1. The CC2340R5 has too little Flash memory to be a Matter End Device.  It is supported as an OpenThread RCP for Matter Fabric operation with a host device.  The CC27XX has an Early Access release for Matter v1.2 End Devices, with plans to update for v1.4 during this year.
    2. Other than the CC27XX, The CC2674X10 is recommended for Matter End Device development.  This device is currently supported on Matter v1.4 and the CC1354P10 is also an option although you would not be utilizing the Sub-1 GHz radio.
