Z-Tool and Windows 7 ?

NO its working. I am using Z-Tool 2.0 with Windows 7 64 bit.

Whats happening ? Will you be able to open the software?

If you unable to open the software. right click the and "Run as administrator"

If you are able to open the software . Then Check Tools--->Settings---->Serial Devices ------> Double Click the Com Port (The com port connected to the RS232 Cable)--->Select the option for the handshake to RTS/CTS.

I am using Windows 7, 32 bits

1) One W7 machine sports a banner "Please wait "  and it never goes away. So I can't even check the settings

Settings for a port are done before starting Z-Tool and I am not sure if they remain that way

2) The other W7 machine  reports "no devices found". The settings are correct ( 38K/RTS/CTS) for the second machine

3) No problem with XP machine.

Not a show stopper, I was just curios if somebody runs Z-Tool 2.0 on Windows 7 ( 32 bit ? )

What about .net framework? try to install the latest version, it might help

      I want try the   ZNP(Packet sniffer)<---->ZAP(PC),So i want to program my Packet Sniffer as ZNP so i saw the folder ZNP-HexFiles in my Z Stack HM 1.0  project but in that folder so many ZNP hex files,So i decided to build the ZNP-TestHex (Regaurding from doc).

My Q:

1.From that files which one is best or TestHex files is set for my simple task?

I download  the z stack home automation for Z tool 2.0 but when i open the software a small window searching something infinitely so i can't use the Z tool .I think my system in win 7 32 bit because of the reason only i can't work and when i search Z tool it simply give the same software.So give any idea to Z tool in Win 7 32 bit.

Every ZNP command has ACK. You can send any ZNP command such as

Your question is not really related to this thread topic. I would suggest you init a new post and specify the following items:

1. What Z-Stack version do you use?

2. What HW do you use? CC2530zdk or CC2531 usb dongle?

3. What FW do you download to your HW?

I did it, and I Z-Tool never finishes what ever it is doing. There's just the "Please wait..." message.
