Hi,

I am trying to set up a ZigBee sniffer over Wireshark using the launchpad cc26x2r1, I am able to locate the device on the device manager --> PORTS.

When I start the SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2 Sniffer Agent, I could not be able to configure the device since the agent did not detect the board. Please help me setup the packet sniffer.

Hi Ajmal,

Did you program the sniffer firmware with Uniflash and reset the LaunchPad before trying to locate the firmware with Packet Sniffer 2? Please follow all instructions in the Packet Sniffer Guide.

Hi Ryan,

Indeed, I have programmed the board through Uniflash

This is where I found the firmware C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2\sniffer_fw\bin\cc26x2r1lp and there is no issue on programming.

Thank you for confirming. After programming and resetting, is the green DIO7 LED blinking? Are you using the latest version of Packet Sniffer 2 (v1.11.0)? Are your Serial Port Settings the same as shown?
