Hi! All

There are some applications with z-stack like GenericApp, SimpleApp, SampleApp etc.We are designing a wireless temperature sensor network using msp430 and cc2520. Which application we should use ?

If you are using CC2530 then

CC2530ZDK - http://www.ti.com/tool/cc2530zdk under Related Products - see TI Software -->Sensor demo.

It will you idea to design your temp sensor network.6562.ADC Measuement swra101a.pdf

make sure you go thru the ADC part for measuring the temp

but we are using cc2520 chipcon..so is there any demo application for this.?

Hello Shivraj,

You can install the latest ZAP Installer from www.ti.com/z-stack and use the Sample Application - TVSA in which routers and end-devices send temperature and voltage data to coordinator and modify it for your application. For better understanding of this application refer to the document - Z-Stack User's Guide for CC2530 ZigBee-PRO Network Processor - Sample Applications.pdf at C:\Texas Instruments\ZAP-MSP430-2.5.0\Documents.

Thanks Suyash for replying me. Actually have been working on MSP430+CC2520.So is this ZAP suggested by you is compliant with MSP430+CC2520?

Hello Shivraj,

For CC2520-MSP430 Examples - please download the Z-Stack releases depending on the MSP430 you are using - ZStack-MSP2618-2.5.0.exe or ZStack-EXP5438-2.5.0.exe.

I would suggest using SampleApp as starting point. You can refer to the document “Z-Stack Sample Application for MSP5438.pdf “at C:\Texas Instruments\ZStack-EXP5438-2.5.0\Documentsor after installing the Z-Stack for more details on the application structure and features for MSP430F5438 - CC2520. And the document "C:\Texas Instruments\ZStack-MSP2618-2.5.0\Documents\MSP2618" at C:\Texas Instruments\ZStack-MSP2618-2.5.0\Documents\MSP2618 for MSP430F2618.

But it was suggested by someone previously to use simpleApp for my project i.e temperature sensing network.What you'll suggest for the same project?
