Address IEEE 64 bits CC2530

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2530

Hello,

I bought the kit ZigBee CC2530 and I developped an application with my cards SmartRf05EB.

I used the long address 64 bits IEEE and I wanted to know the meaning of each byte of my address.

For example, the address of my End Device is: 84 7C 1F 01 00 4B 12 00

And the address of my Coodinator: BE E8 17 01 00 4B 12 00

Thanks for your help,

Regards,

Yoann

  • Hi Yoann,

    First of all, these addresses have to be mirrored:

    84 7C 1F 01 00 4B 12 00 -> 00 12 4B 00 01 1F 7C 84

    BE E8 17 01 00 4B 12 00 -> 00 12 4B 00 01 17 E8 BE

    Now, if I'm not mistaken, addresses pool allocated by ZigBee alliance to TI

    is 00 12 4B xx xx xx xx xx xx

    Though I'm not sure regarding the third and 4'th MSBytes.
