why Coordinator can not send out beacon in time

sometimes we observed that coordinator can not send beacon message even if it receives beacon request. I believe this function is built inside the MAC layer, but is that possible some other task halt the CPU and then task loop can not execute high priority MAC task(somehow similar as priority conversion?) Or is there some other possibility for this?

thanks

Rui

  • Also I want to know whether the beacon message follows the CSMA/CA rule in MAC layer in a none beacon enabled network. Or it will send out beacon immediately when receiving a beacon request, regardless of channel condition.

    Thanks
