Power Cunsumtion Study on cc2480 using ZASA

Hello everybody,

I'm carrying out a power consumption study on CC2480 evaluation kit, using ZASA. When measuring current compsumtion at end device start up I find some doubts.

In the left chart I show the current consumption during the first 10 seconds and in the right one the meaning of each part. My question is:

-After exchanging commands between the msp430 and cc2480 and before starting sending data: why cc2480 radio systems apperars to be working? I think it is checking the channel on wich its going to work but Im not quite sure. In fact, if this is correct, where in ZASA code can I find the part that makes cc2480 look for the channels?

Well, I hope I made me clear...Thanks a lot!
