The README file that is supplied with each Z-Stack installer will provide that information, along with other items that may be important to you -- you should always have a look at the README file.
In the README file for the 1.4.3-1.2.0 release, it says: "The library files have been built and tested with EW8051 version 7.30B/W32".
I having the EXP4618 board with CC2420EDK. I want to download the zstack to the board of Zsack version of ZSTACK(1.4.3-1.2.0). Size of the zstack (.exe) file size is 554kb but memory available in the controller is 126kb. Another thing Zstack is flashed in MSP430 or CC2420.
The Z-Stack download contains pdf documents, utility tools and lots of other stuff. The entire download is not going to be programmed into the MSP430 memory.
The code is programmed into the MSP430's flash memory. The CC2420 is an RF transceiver, and only has a limited number of registers that will be programmed by the MSP430 during operation.
