Hello,
I'm currently using the CC2480 to develop a custom Zigbee application and after reading the CC2480 Developer's Guide I got a bit worried. According to page 7 of this guide, regarding Network comissioning, it states that:
1- "...the maximum depth of the network is limited to 6." (the depth being "...the number of hops that any device in the network can be from the coordinator.").
2- "Each router (or coordinator device) can have up to 20 child devices."
Are these limitations derived from the Zigbee standard or from the CC2480 hardware? Can these limitations be overcomed with another version of Z-Stack or with TI-MAC or even SimpliciTI?
