Hello everyone,

Why the maximum number of children is 20?

    You're looking at the Home Automation (HA) Profile. This public profile, like the Smart Energy (SE) profile, specifies the number of children that a Coordinator or Router may have for compatibility and physical layout reasons. In the HA example, each Routing device can have 6 Routers associated with it and 14 End Devices to a maximum depth of 5 Routers. Any Routers joining the 5th level of Routers (from the Coordinator) will join as End Devices.

    If you don't like this, you can specify your own Private (Manufacturer Specific) Profile. You can specify whatever characteristics that you like for that.
