Our application collects data at remote nodes and sends it back to a PC for collection/analysis/etc. We are currently using the TI 2430/31 dev kit. We have a serial link from the PC to a 2430EB on the SmartRF04 board. With a small custom application this serves as our PC to zigbee link, it is also our network coordinator. We have recently come to realize the the serial link could end up limiting our network capacity to an unacceptable level; therefore, we are searching for alternatives. An ethernet to Zigbee gateway is one such alternative.
Can anyone suggest a good COTS Ethernet to ZigBee geteway that can be used to interface to a ZigBee network containing customized nodes? Is there a COTS gateway that is software customizable perhaps?
