Zigbee stack for different application profile

Does the zigbee stack changes for different zigbee profile . Smart energy differes from Home automation . SE wants link keys etc . Does the stack changesdepending on profile . Does anything should be taken care whil developing stack regarding profile.

only the application layer of the stack have to be changed based on the profile

other parts of the stacks will remain same, and obliviously the memory footprint of the stack will be changed based on the p rofile u use
