I would need to get an old version of the Z-Stack software for the CC2530 platform; the version is 2.4.0, where could I get it?

    Is there a reason for you being interested in an older Z-Stack version?
    Are planning to port to 2.5.1a?

    HI,

    well I'm working on an old project based on the 2.4.0 version. I would have the original source unmodified as reference, so i could migrate to the 2.5.1 version then.

    Hi,

    We're facing the same problem. We have a legacy project based on ZStack 2.4.0 and we need to isolate code in order to perform a cleaner migration. Is it possible to download the 2.4.0 to have as reference?

    It would probably be good for TI to have a link on the site to previous Z-Stack releases, of course with a big warning like "These are old - use them at your own risk - upgrade soon!". I have a client that is using ZB2006 on CC2430 and it would be handy to be able to grab this release, fully knowing that it's obsolete.

    Hi guys,

    I take these inputs are very valuable feedback; please understand we always suggest our customer to use the latest stack releases because they follow the latest enhancements at profile and stack level therefore we post only the latest one on the web.

    I opened up an FTP server where I posted the 2.4.0 on 2530.

    The files from the dropoff area available for 3 days.

     

      1. Open an ftp session to ftppickup.ti.com.

             ftp ftppickup.ti.com

     

      2. Login with the userid 'pickup'.

             Name: pickup

     

      3. Enter the password.

             Password: piurh!

     

      4. Change directories to the pickup directory.

             ftp> cd /pub/share/ligoohe

     

         Note: If you are using a graphical ftp client, you will not

               see the hidden pickup directory name ligoohe appear

               in the file list.  You will need to use a manual

               'Change Directory' or 'CD' command to change into the

               dropoff directory.

     

      5. Set the file transfer mode to ascii or binary as necessary.

             ftp> bin

     

      6. Transfer the file.

             ftp> get <file>

     

      7. End the ftp session.

             ftp> quit

    Hi TheDarkSide and others, 

    I was wondering if this link could be opened again? I need to get an old version of ZStack for the CC2530, or a version that will work with IAR8051 v8.10.

    We also have a legacy project & situation that requires an older version.
