Routers cannot join to the ZC?

hi:

when i power on a new  ZC since the old one broke . i should turn off  all routers first . but my ZEDs are all on and cann't reset or turn off manually.  so the problem is that  when i turn off all routers and power on a new ZC, the ZEDS are immediately associate to the new ZC leading to the capacity of ZC full(the capacity is limited beacuse of some reasons).    so the routers cann't join to the ZC,  what can i do to assure routers joining to the ZC.

  • Hi leo,

You should turn off association permission for all routers.

Turn on the new coordinator, and permit association on to add routers one by one.

Is it a solution for your case?

  • hi Launix,

thank you ,You mean first i should turn off the association permission of new coordinator, and then permit association to add routers one by one .but i feel it hard to achieve it ,the duration of permission is hard to set.  so i think if i can set some items for  coordinator to reject  the join of endpoint  but permit the join of  routers. how do you feel.

  • Hi Leo,

Do you use Ztool with your coordinator? This is easy also to set permission duration.

You mean the join of End_device not endpoint? You can't authorized an association by device_type.
