CC2530 + CC2591 Short Network Join Range

I have successfully tested our CC2530 + CC2591 for distances greater than 300m.  The problem I am having is that once communication is lost, the range to rejoin the coordinator is significantly shorter?  Is there anything I can do to have the join range match the normal reporting range?

    You can try to revise the following defines in mac_raido.c.

    #define ED_RF_POWER_MIN_DBM   (MAC_RADIO_RECEIVER_SENSITIVITY_DBM + MAC_SPEC_ED_MIN_DBM_ABOVE_RECEIVER_SENSITIVITY)
    #define ED_RF_POWER_MAX_DBM   MAC_RADIO_RECEIVER_SATURATION_DBM
