I am planning to design a wireless ECG using TI's cc2530. I want to transmit the acquired signal from a patient's body to a basestation, i.e Laptop. Therefore, i am looking for a cc2530 compatible zigbee module for laptop. The interface would be through USB. Can anyone suggest me any zigbee module?

So basically i will design an end deivce using cc2530 that will be reading ecg signal from patient's body. So i can use CC2531emk to acquire the ECG signals? Is CC2531 pre-programmed or I will need to program? And to program I can do it in my laptop using some software or would I need external programmer?

If I do not make mistake, the CC2531emk is pre-programmed with sniffer FW. So, you need to install TI ZStack and using IAR workbench for 8051 to compiler FW for cc2531emk by yourself. By the way, you also need CC debugger to download FW into cc2531 emk.
