Avoiding time critical operations with NV writes

As it is described, nv write is a block function. It means there is no other function workable while doing nv write. If RX is turned on at the same time, there might be problem at receving.

Thanks for the response. It says, "For example, a good time to write NV items would be when the receiver is turned off."  To restate my question.  If I want to perform an NV write, what is the best means to determine when the receiver is turned off?

If you use ZStack, I think you don't need to worry about that. I would only suggest that you don't put osal_nv_write right after AF_DataRequest. Because right after DataRequest, RX will be turned on for a while to receive data.

Thanks. So are you saying there is no way to verify if the receiver is enabled?  I would guess though that the receiver might be enabled at layers other than the Application level.

If you want to check RX status, you can check register RXENABLE.
