Dear All,

Please let me know what the ZED will be doing when ZC goes off/down for some time. When the ZC comes back how can it rejoin?

Any setting I have to do in SampleLight ZED to automatically rejoin the ZC.

I am getting Association fail message once ZC is switched off. But even the ZC is switched on again the ZED is still showing the same Assoc fail message and never rejoin the ZC.

How to resolve this issue?

You need to enable NV_RESTORE on both ZED and ZC.

Thanks, now the ZED is automatically rejoining the network with ZC. But one more thing I noticed is that I am getting one message from ZC on UART0 port. I connected the UART0 to PC and watched the port using Docklight.

The message is sent by MT_SysResetInd() function, how can I disable only this message transmission?

The message received by Docklight is FE 06 41 80 01 02 00 02 05 01 C2

But I want to use the UART0 port for sending some application messages like Humidity and Temperature values to PC.

Please clarify.

Try to comment out everything inside MT_SysResetInd function. The MT_SysResetInd function is located at MT_sys.c.

Hi,

I have disabled NV_RESTORE in both ZCD and ZED any other way that ZED should Re join once coordinator is UP ( after it went down )

I have a coordinator which is suppose suddenly gone to Power off state
Now when Coordinator is once again Power ON

I have always to do Power on reset for the router/end device again to start the communication
NV_RESTORE is disabled in both ZED and ZCD

One more Doubt suppose I don't want to turn ON the RF(zigbee) feature in my CC2530 Coordinator on Start up, Is it Possible to with the Z Tools to disable it and then Re-enable it

1. If NV_RESTORE is disable, ZED need to be restarted to join when ZC restarts.
2. Coordinator can be in DEV_HOLD state after restart. You can use ZB_START_REQUEST to start it.

DO I need to change anything in the Z stack Mesh/Coordinator Code to make the Coordinator in DEV_HOLD State

and then from Z tools use " ZB_START_REQUEST"

You can add define HOLD_AUTO_START in your Z stack Mesh/Coordinator Code to make the Coordinator in DEV_HOLD State.
