I'm new with the CC2530 Development kits, So i have a question .I have 7 EM(evaluation module) kits, and it's written in the manual that 2 of them acts as collector and 5 of them acts as sensor, I have one EM broken , how can i know it's collector one or sensor one ??

if the broken one is a collector, can any other one do it's function ? and how ?

1. There is a label shows collector on CC2530EM PCB if it is a collector and label SENSOR if it is for sensor purpose.

2. The sensor CC2530EM can't be use for collector purpose.

Thank You soo much , I'm still beginner with dealing with those kits. Could you advice me to read certain document in order to get familiar fast with cc2530ZDK.

Download and install the latest ZStack. There are lots of documents in the installation folder. I would suggest you can start from GenericApp example.

I have another problem one of my collector EMs when i conneted it to SmartRF EB it's showing that there is no EM detected ?? so is the kit damaged ??

Put a CC2530EM sensor on SmartRF EB. If it can be detected, the COLLECTOR id broken. If not, it might be that the SmartRF EB is broken.
