New Linux ZigBee Lighting gateway wiki-page released

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: Z-STACK

Hi Z-stack ™ fans,

we are happy to announce the release of the following design wiki:

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/ZigBee_Lighting_Gateway

This wiki features a Linux gateway solution for wireless lighting monitoring and control.

Leveraging on the certified Z-stack ™Lighting control bridge embedded application, which builds a certified ZigBee embedded bridge for lighting, the wiki aims at providing a total solution with an extensive set of additional SW components and easy how-to guide to build an Internet Of Everything system.

The opens source Linux host SW builds a middleware that provides a TCP/IP socket interface for application, integrating a ZigBee to IP bridge. This middleware also abstracts the ZigBee application layer logic, simplifying the integration and the application development.

The application example set is extensive: C command-line, Android app and cloud-connectivity agent. This allows users to easily build upon and quickly develop their own UI skin, or to easily port their own cloud connectivity agent for IoT applications.

We are excited to enable the innovation and the creativity of the e2e community and encourage to start developing wireless lighting solutions.

Please visit http://www.ti.com/tool/cc2530zdk-zll and http://www.ti.com/tool/beaglebk to get started to build your IoT wireless lighting system

For further queries on this topic, please post a question or discussion on http://e2e.ti.com and use the tag "ZigBee Lighting Gateway wiki".

 Thanks,
