How CC2530 Sends Data

Hello Every one, I am having experience of working on CC2530 for past 3 months. Though i have done many application on it. Suddenly i doubt arise in my mind, CC2530 is 8051 microcontroller and how does it send a data wirelessly. I mean through which interface, UART?. I know it's very silly question. But i must know this. So some one answer it.

Hi Reshmi..

CC2530 is a RF specific chip build on a 8051 core. There is RF interface on chip integrated with 8051 uC. Take a look at cc2530 datasheet to Pg. 19 to circuit/ layout description of cc2530.

You should also look at the User Guide, http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/SWRU191. The data sheet doesn't provide details on the interface.

CC2530 is a soc with 8051 and rf tranciver integrated together so you only need to use registers to control rf tranciver from 8051.
