Z-stack can't find the device SmartRF05EB Evaluation Board

What FW do you flash to your CC2530?

I was actually flashed Sample Light and Sample Switch apps from Z-Stack Home 1.2.0 folder. But I can't see my device on Z-stack.

I have Z-tool 2.00

Try to disable flow control on the COM port settings and check if the baud rate setting is correct. 

I made it 11520 . We are really confused here. Why we can't find any document about Z-stack usage. 

When we connect the SmartRF05EB do we have to see something on the screen or need to open some files, I don't know how. At the help file it mentions about scripts and loading parameters but the Z-stack can't see the COM3. Do we need to arrange the jumpers etc. ?

Do you press "Scan for Devices" button?

Sure I press "scan for device" button. It searches for about 5 sec. and say "not found"

Try to close and open Ztool to see if it can find the device. Sometime you need to restart Ztool many time to get it. By the way, could you take a picture of your connection between Smartrf05EB and PC? I can have a look and see if there is anything wrong on your physical connection.

We tried it about 3-4 hours but still doesn't work.

Just check the source code and find the correct baud rate should be 38400. Also, please enable flow control in your RS232 settings.

I tried it with 38400 baud rate and RTS/CTS hand shake and it works. Thanks a lot! And now, where can we find guides about Z-Tool ? We just have the Help part.

There is no specified documents about Z-Tool but you can read the Monitor and Test command document to know every command in Z-Tool.
