Philips hue and HA coordinator

Hi,

I'm having trouble trying to get a Philips Hue LED strip to join my HA network. In some moment, it joined my network (I guess....) and now it is stuck on the PAN ID I had at that moment. I tried forcing my PAN ID to the same number, through the packet sniffer I can see that both (my coord and the light) are on the same PAN ID but I do not receive any dev annce when power cycled, nor can I communicate with it. How should I proceed? Any help on what should I try?

Hi,

To recover comms you would need the correct network key and outgoing frame counter in addition to the PAN Id. Its probably easiest to just factory reset your Hue. There is a semi-secret button press from the remotes to do this - google it for your remote.

Well, I could finally recover communication, but stuck on the same network (forcing it on my coordinator to match). I'll try to reset it now with a remote.

So let's say I'm on the same HA network and I can communicate with it: send turn on/off cmds, change colours, is there a cmd to reset it? Should zclGeneral_SendBasicResetFactoryDefaults work? (tried it and didn't). There's another one?

Hi,

as far as i understand the Hue should reset itself if it received a correct

ZDO_MGMT_LEAVE_REQ

...at least my Hue bulb turns red after it received this command, which is an indication that it did a reset.
