Can I establish a Star Topology Network by using ZigBee protocol?
If star topology can be established by using Z-Stack;

1) All End Devices will have an address and communicate with one Data Collector (coordinator) in a star network as the following picture. All End Devices can directly access to the Data Collector. So, Can I need any binding mechanism in End Devices or Data Collector? Can an End Device send a data packet to Data Collector without using any bind table?

2) Z-Stack is complicated for me. Is the Z-Stack Simple API (sapi) enough to establish a star topology network? End Devices do not need to communicate with themselves.

3) What are the most important restrictions of Simple API in comparison with Z-Stack API?

I know that TIMAC is more appropriate for Star Network but I wonder about ZigBee.

1. Yes, you can make a zigbee star network like you describe.

2. &3 Simple API is good enough to serve your purpose.

Do you think I need to create a bind table in source? I mean, Can I send data from End Device to Coordinator with just entering the Coordinator address without using binding? All End Devices will know the Coordinator address in star network so what is the simple way to send data to Coordinator (Data collector) from End Devices?

Since the short address of coordinator is 0x0000, there is no need to do the binding for sending data from end device to coordinator.
