We have one cc2530 module ,there is no key,lcd,led. only serial port is avilable. i am compile the sample program in zstack , the hex file size is 416kb, but the cc2530 ic flash size is 256kb. how to compile this. the iar version 8.30 evalution. please send serial app sample. because this module contains only serial port.

Hex file is not binary so it must be larger. It should be no problem download it to CC2530.

CC2530 - ID6544: HEX file content at address 0x4A451 exceeds chip's 256 kB flash size

this is generated in smart flash programmer . any other setting is there.

Which Z-Stack version do you use for Serial APP example? Do you try to use matched IAR version to build the hex? You can find all of IAR version for TI low power SOC at http://www.iar.com/Products/Wireless-solutions/Tools-for-TI-wireless/

This error is typically caused by the "banked code model" being configured incorrectly. Open \Projects\zstack\Tools\CC2530DB\fw82530.xcl and check the the following line is uncommented:

// Include these two lines when generating a .hex file for banked code model:
-M(CODE)[(_CODEBANK_START+_FIRST_BANK_ADDR)-(_CODEBANK_END+_FIRST_BANK_ADDR)]*\
_NR_OF_BANKS+_FIRST_BANK_ADDR=0x8000

YEs thanks for your reply, This is working. how to check the program flow. because my board there is no led and lcd and switch. how to check the coordinator and end device will communicate, i am complie the sample app in zstack, the communication success, then the hal_led4 is on,but the voltage level in P1.4 is always low in coordinator and enddevice. so how check this.

Pls send the serial port setting in P0.

In Hal_board_cfg, All led and key ,lcd pheriphals will change to FALSE.

in SampleApp_MessageMSGCB , i am add one cluster id, the enddevice is transmit one data, this event receive to transfer to port P1.

But this is not working.

Hello

Iam using cc debugger for debugging the program. but i ll run the program, one error is generated.

"unable to execute driver error."

How to resolve this. how to debug the program

Check if you enable "Debug information for -SPY" in Output tab of Linker option.

Hi ,

I am using cc2530 module and using Z-Stack Lighting 1.0.2 for receive the data on to the uart.

I did some changes but not able to get the result can any one please help me out.
