Hi,

I am using ZStack Energy on the CC2538 and I have a network of one ESP and a Load Control Node, each with more than one end-point.

I found the command that asks the ZDO Manager on the Load Control Node to send the list of active end-points, and it works well, I can see the response with a protocol analyzer.

What I cannot find is the area of code on the ESP (or device requesting the list), where the response arrives, so that I can take the list and do something with it.

Can anyone help?

Hi Dan,

You can register the ZDP commands you want to receive by using ZDO_RegisterForZDOMsg. For example, if your ESP task ID is espTaskID and you want to receive Active Endpoint Rsp in the task, the call would be:

ZDO_RegisterForZDOMsg( espTaskID, Active_EP_rsp );

Then, Active EP rsp messages will be delivered to esp_ProcessZDOMsg().

Thanks, this solved my problem, I now have all the end point info at my disposal.

Seems that I have much to learn about SOC systems :)

when you want to get the Active EP rsp，should you send a Active EP request first?
ZDP_ActiveEPReq(dstAddr, NWKAddrOfInterest, SecurityEnable );

what is the NWKAddrOfInterest,is that the shortaddr?

Hi, the NWKAddrOfInterest is the address for the node that you want to get an end-point list from. Only properly registered end-points on that node will be listed. The response sent from this node will contain the total number of end-points, followed by a list of each one's number, that is each ones end-point address.

thanks ， if we only use address from zclIncomingMsg_t *pInMsg ，it could not be right for get the endpoint。

we need to parse the Msg For ZDO_DeviceAnnce_t Imsg;
