Z-Stack Lighting 1.0.2 Device Address Change Issue

Hi,

I have a sampleBridge and a light, and the light is touchlinked to the samplebridge. Then when I re-flash the light (erasing everything first) and touchlink it again, there's a device announce but the bridge is unable to communicate with the device (which btw, now has a different short address).

When I hardware reset the bridge, communication is back up again.

What could it be? Any way to solve it?

Regards,

Sjef.

  • Sjef,

This could be an issue with the frame counter as the device did not leave the network and get removed from the security manger. As a test can you debug the ZLight and make the frame counter after re-flashing higher then it was before the re-flashing.

  • Sjef,

Did you get any further with this? Is there an issue?

    Regards, TC.

  • TC,

I didn't get to this yet, as I'm working on other things now. It's not super important, as in the field re-flashing doesn't usually happen, except for maybe the application, but when the NV stays intact there is no problem.

It would be helpful if you could tell me what frame counter I need to change  - what is the variable's name / where defined?

    Regards,

    Sjef.
