Can the CC2538 RESET_N input be left floating?

The evaluation module has it connected to an RC low-pass (2.2K/1nF), but when the board is standalone, it is essentially floating. The datasheet and the user guide doesn't specify if this pin has an internal pull-up.

If it is not needed, what is the recommended way of terminating it?

I did see the figure 2 but, just like the reference design, it is connecting the reset to a RESET_N signal via an RC filter. If there is no RESET_N signal, the reset pin is floating, and it is unsafe until there is a pull-up inside the CC2538. So, the question remain, is there a pull-up inside the CC2538 on RESET_N?
