The new SmartRF05 EB does not work with CC2520 EM?

Hi TI experts,

I recently purchased CC2530 DK which includes 2 SmartRF05EB (rev1.8.1) and 2 CC2530 EM.

Everything works fine.

However, I also have 2 CC2520 EM that I want to test out, but when I plug in the CC2520 EMs to the SmartRF05EB, I cannot perform tx/rx test using Smart RF Studio.

Does anyone know why this is not working?

Did the SmartRFStudio recignizes the chip (CC2520), when you power-up SmartRF05 EB?

Yes, the SmartRF Studio recognizes the CC2520. When I clicked into the window, selected TX/RX mode, and clicked "start", no packet seems to be sent/received. The # sent counter stops at 1/2 packets.

Also the board is able to recognize CC2520 as well (indicating on the LCD).
