Hi,

I am working with development platform CC2530 EM board, program it using stm32f401C-DISCO per SPI. For some tests I uploaded on CC2530EM another hex file. Now I want to upload the original firmware, I have tried C:\Texas Instruments\Z-Stack Home 1.2.1\Projects\zstack\ZAP\ZNP-HexFiles\CC2530ZNP-Pro.hex. But with this firmware CC2530 doesnt work as before. Should I look for another firmware or make some changes in program? Thank you

Check your P2_0 to see it is high or low status. P2_0 =0 (low status) means you want to use UART.

The ZNP source code is under C:\Texas Instruments\Z-Stack Home 1.2.0\Projects\zstack\ZNP\. You can try to debug why it doesn't work.

I've downloaded CC2530ZNP-SB.hex image (I have in ZNP folder only two hex files). With this firmware it doesnt work at all. Which firmware was on CC2530 originally?

The default FW should be samplelight and sampleswitch.

Thank you for helping, but I still didnt find the error. I will try to describe the whole situation. So I am trying to send some data from CC2530EM and catch them with CC2521 USB Dongle. I'm programming CC2530EM per SPI with stm32f401c-disco. I've wrote CC2530-ZNP power-up, CC2530-ZNP startup procedure and ZB-send_data_request, zb_send_data_confirm according to CC2530ZNP Interface Specification.pdf. On CC2530EM I have CC2530ZNP-Pro.hex firmware. I can't catch any signals on CC2521USB Dongle. Is problem with the firmware or somewhere else? Thank you.

Do you make your CC2531 usb dongle act as a coordinator and let your stm32f401c with CC2530EM act as end device to join coordinator?

CC2530EM acts as a coordinator and generate own network, CC2531 usb dongle works in the same channel as CC2530EM. I'm using TI SmartRF Packet Sniffer to see what usb dongle capture.

If you only use CC2530EM as coordinator and no device joins the network, you can't use AF_DataReq to send message. It needs a destination.

And if I use CC2530EM as an end device, should I capture any data?

To capture data, you need to form a Zigbee network by coordinator first and let an end device joins coordinator.

Thank you for helping. Now I'm trying to form a Zigbee network by coordinator following steps CC2530ZNP Interface Specification. Function ZB_START_CONFIRM returns Zfailure status. I was trying to change parameters in ZB_APP_REGISTER_REQUEST, but it didn't help. Where could be an error? Thank you.
