TIMAC: generating automatic MAC ACKS?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIMAC

I'm using the CC2531 with 256kb and the TIMAC (Version 1.5.0, May 09, 2013). I was wondering how I can configure the TIMAC to automatically send a MAC ACK if my device receives a frame where the flag (MAC header -> Frame Ctrl -> ACK REQ) is set? I can't find anythink helpful in the MAC API. Does anyone have a tip for me where to search?

Regards,

Timo

  • Timo,

Auto Ack is enabled by default . Did you check the sniffer trace to ensure the packet has correct destination address etc ? Please consult section 23.9.8  of cc253x users guide http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru191f/swru191f.pdf for more details .
