Hi,

I have a problem for use CC2530ZDK about SensorDemo:

1, I download the swrc147.zip from TI website and un-zip it to C:\Texas Instruments\ZStack-CC2530-2.3.0-1.4.0\Projects\zstack\Samples.

2, Open the SensorDemo project with IAR 7.51.

3, as Project --> Rebuild All --> Debug. but the SmartRF05EB can't run at right position (Collector) (LED2 keep blinking and not any display at LCD). while i program it use SmartRF Flash Programer, it will be run at right position.

4, When Rebuild the project, the IAR can't output HEX file, how to set it?

My Zstack version is CC2530-2.3.0-1.4.0

I had the same problem. You may need to use -PRO version. Please let me know if it resolves your problem.

The SensorDemo files are currently built for Z-stack 2.2.0.

In order to make it work with Z-stack 2.3.0 there is a small change required in the project options:

- In IAR go to Project -> Options and select General Options

- Set Number of virtual registers to 16 instead of 8

- Rebuild

I have another question in terms of the SampleApp's code. In its ZMain.c's ZMacInit(), I saw it call some mac-related initialize functions, e.g., MAC_Init(), MAC_InitDevice, etc. However, I can not find any definitions for these functions (I only find extern declaration in mac_api.h). But where is the source file for these functions? How does the compliler link these functions?

The source files for those (and other high_level MAC functions) are not provided in the Z-Stack releases. The linker finds the high_level MAC objects in the TIMAC-CC2530.lib library file that is included in the Z-Stack releases.
