Export and convert TI Smart RF Packet Sniffer .psd file to an ASCII .csv, .xls or .txt file

Hello all;

Where might I find a copy of psd2ascii.exe or a similar utility, preferably compiled or scripted for processing of .psd files from current Packet Sniffer version 2.18.1 or 2.18.0.

As I know, there is no such utility. I should be easy to build on by yourself.

We have not made a tool like this but note that the .psd file is a text file and hence it's easy to import in excel or open it in a text editor. The format of the file could be found in chapter 4 in http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru187g/swru187g.pdf

The file seems to be in binary format. How are we supposed to read it with a text editor?

I would like to sort packet sniffer data as well.

How can I export RFpacket Sniffer data for use with a text editor or excel type tool ?

You can try to parse PSD file directly. You can find PSD file format by click on Help->About the PSD file format in TI packet sniffer.
