CC2530 use with AM3358, Zigbee with Beaglebone black

thanks for feedback, i need some more information regarding "ZigBee Home Automation Gateway reference design".
in its block diagram provide at its page  AM3352 is communication with CC253x with USB and USART.
As i am using Beagle bone Black (AM3358 MPU used in that), can I use this CC2531 with it only at UART? i am not willing to use Zigbee at USB because i have to attach some other things on this interface. 
and also provided software/Driver for that is also compatible with my configuration (AM3358 connecting with CC2531 over UART interface)

AM335x uses USB CDC driver to talk to CC2531 USB dongle and it actually is a USB to serial driver. I suggest you to follow reference design at firs. After you are familiar with it, you can try to revise it.

yes the SW supports both UART over USB as well as UART.

Please note that by default the SW is shipped with UART over USB configuration enabled as the reference design is BBB+USB dongle based on CC2531 running ZigBee.

Anyway you can easily change the serial interface using the NPI configuration file in Source/Projects/zstack/linux/collateral/gateway/config/NPI_Gateway.cfg to re-direct the host flow through ttyO4 instead of ttyACM0.
