CC2530 RF Transmit Section (Nominal Output Power)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2530

I am trying to  fully understand the RF Transmit Section Nominal Output Power in the CC2530 datasheet.  I understand variance for the targetted max output power setting of TYP (4.5dBm), but I am trying to understand the MIN(-8dBm) and MAX(10dBm) values in the same row

What is the actual expected output power range when using the maximum output power setting ot TYP (4.5dBm)?

Would you please help explain the wider tolerance range and why the difference to the MIN (0dBm) to MAX (8dBm)?

Thanks,

Robb

  • Answer identified after more closely looking at the datasheet.

The BOLD MIN(-8dBm) to MAX (8dBm) values cover the extended temperature (-40C to 125C), voltage (2V to 3.6V), and Fc frequency spectrum (2394MHz to 2507MHz).

    Thanks,
